... to lead a simple and quiet life. Whether that's been a bit forced due to our desk top biting the dust, or the fact that I really have been busy doing just that (though it's quiet, this season takes all the efforts and energy I've got), I have really rather liked it! I actually love it, in fact.
Gabe working through the night and now sleeping, however, has lent his computer just sitting idol on the counter. With the cooler weather not beckoning us out, I seized the chance to get some other work done, and then come here to maybe weep just a little bit at the fact my baby turns one, tomorrow!
I have no pictures, and I'm not sure I'd know how to put them on here anyways, seeing as I'm not very familiar with a MAC.
But this child is loved and adored with a tender kind of love. We'll have a quiet celebration with some special souls, in honor of his presence in our lives thus far. We'll dote. We'll kiss a little extra, if that's possible! And I'll marvel at the memories and journey as I reflect upon this whole past year, marked with so much change yet all surrounding the greatest change that takes place this first year of life. It just never ceases to amaze me!
Lemuel prefers dirt over food. Sleeps soundly nestled deep in the covers and close to me every night of his life. He loves his family. He doesn't mind strangers. He's precious to me in every way, especially that cleft little chin of his!
So while tomorrow comes and will go, I'll be busy loving on my Lemuel!
